1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Symmetry (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. The App

Symmetry is a facial analysis app that uses your iPhone camera and, on supported devices, the ARKit TrueDepth camera to measure facial symmetry and proportions. The App provides scores, measurements, and AI-generated analysis and insights.

3. Informational and Entertainment Purposes Only

All measurements, symmetry scores, proportions, ratings, and AI-generated insights provided by the App are approximate and provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a basis for medical, psychological, cosmetic, or other professional decisions. Always consult a qualified professional for such advice.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App require a paid subscription. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement at apple.com/legal.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
• Payments are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the displayed price unless canceled before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

5. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the App.

6. Your Content and Data

Photos and analysis results are stored locally on your device. Photos are transmitted to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) only when you request an AI feature. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms. Subscription cancellations are handled through your Apple ID account.
